Industry Firsts

Before agile was the default, Steve rewired how a major agency operated from the ground up. Recognized by CMO Magazine, this wasn't a pilot program — it was a full organizational transformation that changed how digital work got delivered, at scale.

When Adobe needed to bring artificial intelligence into its Enterprise Manager platform, they put Steve in the room. His expertise shaped what became Sensei — Adobe's first AI and machine learning solution — and he then built the training that brought it to market.

Life sciences content is among the most regulated in the world. Steve helped Veeva develop its first modular content tool, creating a reusable, audit-ready content model that the industry now treats as standard practice.

Nobody had done it before — putting a customer's own photo on their Barclaycard. Steve conceived and led the initiative that made it possible, turning a financial product into a personal one and opening a new category of consumer engagement in banking.

Long before one-click purchasing, Steve led the team that figured out how to embed credit card functionality directly into set-top boxes across the UK. The result was the first-ever in-home purchase experience via Sky TV — a precursor to everything we now take for granted in streaming commerce.

When Disney needed to get its content to every VOD platform simultaneously at launch, Steve designed and deployed the production system that made it happen. End-to-end, from work-in-progress systems to channel distribution to digital packaging — built for one of the most anticipated media launches in history.

When Novartis needed a smarter way to manage regulated content, Steve created a complete modular content system from scratch — the first of its kind on the Aprimo platform and among the earliest in the entire pharmaceutical industry. It became the model for how compliant, reusable content could be built once and deployed everywhere.

OptiDynamics: A Survival Theory for Companies in a Changing World

OptiDynamics

A Survival Theory for Companies in a Changing World

Every organization is fighting entropy — the invisible force that causes energy to dissipate, momentum to stall, and great ideas to die before they ship. OptiDynamics applies the laws of thermodynamics to organizational behavior: a science-grounded, measurable framework for building teams and systems that don't break under complexity.

The same challenge BRG confronts every day: deploying intelligence that holds up inside complex organizations. This is Steve's published, peer-tested contribution to that question — not a consulting deck, but a framework already deployed at MarTech, Adobe Summit, ANA, and Cella Illuminate.
